Specifications include, but are not limited to:. CPS Energy is seeking information as it relates to a service provider to stock and manage vehicle parts for routine and emergency / critical repairs of CPS Energy fleet vehicles and equipment. The CPS Energy fleet currently consists of 2,400 vehicles and equipment of various makes and models consistent with any other utility construction and maintenance fleet. The objective is for the selected service provider to provide and maintain an on-site / off-site inventory to support routine and emergency OEM parts (as defined by CPS Fleet Operations). The major manufacturers in CPS Energy’s fleet include, but are not limited to: Ford, Terex, Versalift, Altec, Peterbuilt, Cummins, Caterpillar, GM, Navistar, Kubota & Polaris. The selected service provider will also furnish many different types of vehicle consumables, including but not limited to: fasteners, lubricants, greases, coolants, solvents, etc. The service provider is to procure and own all necessary inventory & maintain personnel and facilities to support identified locations (currently 8 locations within the San Antonio metropolitan area). CPS Energy seeks a service provider using their own resources and strategic partnerships with numerous additional local and national resources who currently provides parts, service and expertise necessary to provide a reliable and complete “dedicated” on-site source of repair parts and services for CPS Energy
