The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers IFBs for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for Three Point Seatbelts and Installation for Lubbock State Supported Living Center. Required services to be provided include supply and installation of new, compliant seatbelt assemblies in the vehicles listed for Lubbock State Supported Living Center handicapped vans and buses. This project aims to enhance the safety of individuals of the facility by replacing current seatbelts with three-point seatbelts in compliance with transportation guidelines for residents of the facility. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and supervision necessary to perform a complete and functional seatbelt installation for all designated passenger and driver seats in the vehicles listed on the quote. Inclusions: • Removal of existing seatbelt assemblies. • Procurement and installation of new, compliant seatbelts for all seating positions. • Replacement of all necessary mounting hardware (bolts, washers, etc.). • Testing of each newly installed seatbelt for proper function and locking mechanism. • Cleaning of the work area in and around each vehicle after completion. Services and frequencies are subject to change per LBSSLC discretion. All services should be performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. Contractor shall provide Lubbock State Supported Center (LBSSLC) a completed service manifest within 30 business days upon services completion.
