Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work includes providing all labor, supervision, equipment, material and all other items necessary to perform valet services at Parkland Memorial Hospital. Requirements, conditions, and specifications for performance include: 1. The drop-off and pick-up location for valet parking patrons is at the Parkland Memorial Hospital entrance at 5201 Harry Hines Blvd. The location for valet vehicle parking is in the Tower Garage at 2021 Medical District Drive, Dallas, Texas, two blocks from the drop-off and pick-up location. 2. About 325 patrons use valet services for parking on an average work day. Congestion within the Valet Parking appears to limit the daily valet parking numbers, and there appears to be an opportunity to park more patrons by reducing this congestion. 3. Valet parking rates are determined by Parkland. The rate for handicapped patrons is currently $5.00. The rate for non-handicapped patrons is $10.00. These rates are periodically approved by Leadership and the Dallas County Hospital District Board of Managers. The Board and Leadership are inclined to hold down the rates as much as possible for the benefit of the working poor and special populations who visit Parkland. 4. The base term for the contract is 36 months from the date of award of the agreement. Parkland and Contractor may, by mutual and written agreement, extend the agreement for up to two additional years in 12-month intervals. Please note that valet parking services will need to shift to the New Parkland campus at some point in 2014 or 2015. 5. The contract minimum and maximum dollars are -$250,000 to $100,000,000 annually
