Specifications include, but are not limited to: University Medical Center is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide Contract Security Services for our main campus and off-site locations. The purpose of the Security Officer is to ensure the safety and welfare of the patients and staff as well as maintain Security for all customers (i.e. patients, visitors and Associates) at the University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC). Contractor agrees to have uniformed non-commissioned Security Officers available for the security needs of UMC. Contractor must provide evidence of a Company License as outlined in Texas Occupation Code Title 10, Chapter 1702 Private Security. Contracting Company must submit written Attestation confirming paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 below on each officer before being assigned for duty at UMC: Medical and background requirements for Officers assigned to the Satellite Emergency locations : Ten (10) Panel Drug Screen Criminal Background Investigation to include OIG, GSA, and Sex Offender and all other healthcare provide screenings. Tuberculosis Screening 2 set process required. Titers for Rubella, Rubeolla, and Vericella required. Titers for Hepatitis B immunization required. T-Dep required or declination. Tetanus required or declination. Influenza required or declination mask required if decline. Individual officer requirements: Carry a Security Officer Pocket Card. Have at least 6 months experience as a Security Officer, Military or Police environment. High School diploma or GED Completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior training.
