Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this request is to lease the space currently occupied by the Uniform Shop and contract the Uniform Shop operation with a private vendor. The Uniform Shop is currently located on the Basement floor of the “old” Parkland Hospital, with connectivity to the new hospital across the street via a “sky-bridge” over Harry Hines Avenue. There are plans to move into a new, larger location on the new hospital campus in the near future. Responsibilities include all day-to-day operations of the Uniform Shop, including purchase and maintenance of inventory, management of accounts payable and receivable and direct supervision of staff. The management contractor will provide sales reports on a biweekly basis. The contractor will have access to the point-of-sale software currently in place. The contractor’s performance will be taken into consideration upon evaluation of renewal or continuation of the contract.
