This acquisition is Total Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS is 811412. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The government proposes to solicit from the attached scope of work. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for Services are included in this order and are applicable.

- General: United States Coast Guard SECTOR CORPUS CHRISTI, TX is accepting proposals for qualified individuals or firms to repair inoperable galley equipment: Galley equipment needs to be repaired and brought to an operable status. Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the scope of work, and it is highly recommended to visit the facility to take field measurements, evaluations, etc., and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the work at Coast Guard Sector Corpus Christi.

- All work shall be in reference to replacing the inoperable components of various galley equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair two (2) range pilot lights.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair one (1) oven pilot light.
- Repair or replace the grease valve on one (1) deep fryer.
- Diagnose and repair the compressor on one (1) stand-alone freezer.
- Replace defective temperature sensor in holding cabinet.
- Perform a leak check on one (1) cooling cart, including detection, isolation, and reporting of any refrigerant leaks.
It is mandatory to examine the scope of work, and to visit the facility as per FAR 52.237-1 to take field measurements, evaluations, etc., and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the work at Coast Guard Station South Padre Island.

FAR 52.237-1 -- Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
