Specifications include, but are not limited to: Schematic/Environmental/PS&E services for five contracts for the Waco District: 1) IH 14 expansion; 2) US 84 at Potts Interchange; 3) FM 93 - SH 317 to Wheat Rd.; 4) SH 317 - US 84 to FM 107. • The IH 14 extension from IH 14 in Belton to BU 190 in Rogers, Bell County will widen IH 35 and upgrade US 190 to an access-controlled freeway section. This project will include continuous frontage roads in the urban sections and partial frontage roads in the rural sections. • The US 84/BU 77 intersection (Potts Interchange) in McLennan County will be replaced with a roundabout. A grade separation for US 84 may be included, pending the results of a traffic study. • The FM 93 expansion from SH 317 to Wheat Road in Bell County will widen the existing roadway from two lanes undivided to four lanes divided, with a raised median in the urban section and a two way left turn lane in the rural section. • The SH 317 project from US 84 to FM 107 in McLennan County will widen the existing roadway from two lanes undivided to four lanes divided with a two way left turn lane in McGregor. Passing lanes will be provided outside of McGregor. In addition to the improvements to SH 317 a bypass on south side of McGregor will be studied.
