Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission (THGC) issues this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified Respondents to conduct twelve (12) oral history interviews with––Texas residents during World War II, or currently residing in Texas–– liberators of concentration camps during the Holocaust. The Selected Respondent will conduct twelve (12) oral history interviews with - Texas residents during World War II, or currently residing in Texas - liberators of concentration camps during the Holocaust. Services to be provided: 3.1.1 Conduct twelve (12) individual oral history interviews; 3.1.2 Location and candidacy evaluation of twelve (12) individual liberators of WWII concentration camps; 3.1.3 Travel to the location of the twelve (12) separate liberators for an interview; 3.1.4 Record the interviews simultaneously with digital audio and video recording equipment; 3.1.5 Take a still photograph of the interviewee. Photograph should be a well-lit head shot; 3.1.6 Transcribe the interviews and offer interviewee a chance to edit and approve final draft; 3.1.7 Create a video teaser clip approximately two minutes in length of each interview for web access; 3.1.8 Bind the transcribed interviews using hard covers with gold lettering on spine and cover; 3.1.9 Provide a master copy of the digital audio and video recordings; 3.1.10 Provide a electronic copy of the transcription (preferably MS Word document format); and 3.1.11 Distribute copies of the bound interviews to: a. Library and/or city hall in liberator's hometown; b. Major Holocaust museums in the State of Texas;
