A. The Liquid Oxygen (LOX) shall be suitable for generation of ozone for the disinfection of drinking water and shall comply with the Compressed Gases Association’s Grade B for liquid oxygen, unless otherwise specified in this document. B. The material will not contain any constituents that could result in the violation of any present and/or proposed Federal drinking water standards. C. The LOX will be free from organic and inorganic particulate matter. SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will certify that each shipment meets all of the above specifications D. An analysis of percent oxygen content and total hydrocarbon, in mg/L, shall be submitted with each shipment invoice. E. The dew point of the LOX supplied shall not be above minus 80.0 degrees F at standard atmospheric pressure.
