CapMetro is soliciting bids for a contractor to provide automotive paint and body repair for support vehicles and painting services for transit bus body panels. The non-revenue support vehicle (NRV) fleet consists of over one hundred seventy (170) vehicles of various vehicle manufacturers including Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Mobile Ventures, and Nissan. The support fleet may include other manufacturers in the future. The vehicle fleet consists of electric, hybrid, hybrid-plugin, gasoline, and diesel-powered vehicles and includes sedans, sport utility vehicles (SUV), light-duty and heavy-duty pickups, vans, crossovers, and police units. This solicitation includes routine paint and body work as well as some non-routine activities, including but not limited to picking up and delivery of vehicles, minor and major accident repairs, diagnostic repairs, decal installation and removal, miscellaneous painting of transit bus body panels, glass removal and installation.
