Specifications include, but are not limited to: Northside Independent School District is seeking proposals from community-based organizations (Lead CBOs) to work with schools to implement the Student & Family Educational Wraparound Support Services in identified elementary, middle, and high schools which improves student achievement and equitable outcomes for vulnerable populations. These services are designed to improve student focus on: • Academics • Physical and Mental Health Services • Social Services • Expanded Learning Opportunities • Positive Youth Development • Family and Community Support Through collaborative planning, strategic resource allocation, and community-based partnerships, Student & Family Educational Engagement Services will create welcoming and supportive environments that help students navigate barriers and build on strengths so that every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This strategy has been proven to be effective in increasing graduation rates, student achievement, in reducing chronic absenteeism, and disciplinary incidents. Lead CBOs will align services with the District’s goals.
