Specifications include, but are not limited to: The required service to be provided is one (1) indoor dry stack storage unit for Department of State Human Services (DSHS) owned Boston Whaler Boat and sampling equipment which is used by the DSHS Seafood Aquatic Life Operation Branch (SALOB) Field Office staff in Bacliff, Texas. A. Storage Unit Requirement: 1) Fully enclosed, indoor dry stack storage unit with the ability to accommodate a 27- foot Boston Whaler boat with two 300hp outboard engines. 2) Restrooms available for DSHS staff that are accessible twenty-four (24) hours a day and 7 days a week. 3) Valet launching upon request. 4) Protected harbor for mooring vessel. 5) Dry work rack with power and municipal water for cleaning and maintenance. 6) The Boat shall be stored in an open water warehouse and launched into the water with a forklift. 7) Storage unit shall be maintained by the contractor to include pest control. 8) Changes to the location of the designated storage unit shall be prearranged with the DSHS designated representative prior to relocation and/or switching of the storage unit. B. Boat and equipment quantities can be added or removed during the term of this contract which can increase or decrease storage unit quantities.
