South Texas ISD is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide Special Event Production, Rental Equipment, and Related items and Services. This scope of work is intended to outline the general services required to perform services. The Vendor must provide professional and comprehensive, services to the District on an “as-needed” basis to support the district’s events schedule at various locations. The schedule will include programs that are held indoors and outdoors in both conventional and non-conventional spaces. The contract service providers must have at least three years of successful experience providing services related to the Scope of Work outlined in this RFP. The contractors will support a wide range of corporate and social events held by South Texas ISD administration and its campuses. The Scope of Service for the work will include but not limited to the rental, delivery, setup, and tear down of the following: • Lighting & décor (Prom, homecoming, special events) • Audio systems, video projectors & screens for special events • Theatrical equipment (stage curtains, counterweight, and motorized rigging; theatrical lighting, dimming, control equipment, etc.) • Drapery, confetti, and streamers • Snow machines • Bubble machine • Tents • Generators • Tables and chairs for school and/or school-related events; Additional services include the production of pyrotechnics and booth setup and takedown. The vendor must have the appropriate experience and specific expertise necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities outlined in this solicitation. All proposers must have demonstrated project experience to be eligible for consideration.
