Specifications include, but are not limited to: Midland ISD is seeking to retain qualified persons and/or companies to provide Audiological Services and School Psychological Services in the area of Special Education. The following services are being requested: School Psychologist Experience Texas License Preferred experience working for a Texas school district. Preferred experience working for a Texas school district. Knowledge of Texas laws in determining eligibility for ED, AU and OHI/ADHD. Job -writing FIES, attending IEP meetings to discuss assessment, writing BIPS, providing IEP committees with recommendations. Ability to provide direct service or be willing to travel. Audiologist Texas Licensed – AuD Experience working in an educational setting. Ability to provide local audiological testing. Ability to provide appropriate equipment for students with documented hearing loss. Ability to provide in person assistance with students and equipment on campuses. Ability to work with local ENT to provide documentation and information to facilitate appropriate educational placement.
