Specifications include, but are not limited to: Dallas Independent School District (''the District'') through its Purchasing Department is soliciting vendor proposals and qualifications for Assessments/Assessment Kits/Assessment Protocols, Instructional/Assistive/Adaptive Materials/Supplies, and Equipment, for the most highly qualified Respondent(s).; The assessments we will need are formal and informal assessments in the areas of ( assistive technology, adapted behavior, auditory skills, language, articulation, fluency, pragmatics, autism/emotional disturbance, speech-language pathology, deaf or hard of hearing, fine and gross motor skills, sign language, transition, functional living skills, communication skills, cognitive and achievement, dyslexia, academic developmental/early childhood, music therapy).; Assessments per disciplines listed above may include but are not limited to, formal and informal evaluation kits and protocols, and online application.; Instructional/Assistive/Adaptive Materials/Supplies and Equipment are needed for core content, supplemental, enrichment, interventions, and accessibility in the areas of the core curriculum, enrichment curriculum, special education, behavior health, physical education, transition, dyslexia services, and early childhood intervention. This RFP requires core content TEKS correlations and scientifically-based research for all instructional materials including Teachers Editions, Student Editions, workbooks, and digital resources, but is not required for instructional supplies such as rulers, compasses, snap cubes, algebra tiles, balance beams, timers, pattern blocks, counters, folding geometric shapes, fraction tiles, probeware, associated STEM technology used for computational thinking or scientific reasoning and investigation skills, assistive technology, hearing aid equipment, versa tiles, etc.; Vendors must be able to provide direct support, virtual, and a trainer of trainer models to district staff and parents as appropriate, equipping participants with the professional and personal support, knowledge, skills, and application of the content to the appropriate stakeholder to reproduce services. Must allow the district to record training.
