Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provision of therapy, related services and instructional services provided to Victoria Independent School District (VISD) must be aligned to the Texas Legal Framework: a. Related services include but are not limited to: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Related Services Counseling. b. Instructional services include but are not limited to Speech therapy, Homebound Instruction, Adapted Physical Education, Assistive Technology services, Vision Instruction, Deaf Ed Instruction, In-home Training and Transition services. 2. Strong submissions will include information on the following options: a. Privacy protected by federal HIPAA and FERPA laws b. Personnel providing services are accredited and maintain current certification and/or licensure to practice in Texas. c. Service providers, assessment, and therapy are SHARS/Medicaid billable. d. Therapy tools are engaging and differentiated by developmental level. e. Any evaluations required to assess needs to be provided onsite in a face-to-face format. f. All services expected to be provided according to ARD committee determined frequency and duration. g. Service providers are expected to attend ARD committee meetings and provide progress monitoring data in conjunction with IEP progress reports, prior to Annual ARDs. h. Providers are expected to draft new, data based IEP’s, 5 days prior to each Annual ARD. i. Contracted service providers must provide their own technology, assessment materials and therapy resources. 3. Bids should include a description of any required training for implementation of programs as well as any additional fees
