A. The contractor will provide all labor, materials and equipment to construct a 1/8-mile looped walking track at Building A 12230 West Rd. Houston, TX 77065 as depicted in Attachment A. B. The walking track will be a continuous loop which is 1/8-mile in length, four (4) inches in depth and six (6) feet wide using compacted, asphalt millings. C. The contractor will utilize a powered sod cutter to remove the existing lawn and topsoil to excavate below existing grade to a depth of three (3) inches only in the area where the walking track will be constructed. D. The Contractor shall use a mechanical compactor to compact the excavated track path to create a solid base and install weed barrier prior to installation and compaction of the asphalt millings. E. The walking track will be edged and anchored on the inside and outside edges with four (4) inch tall metal landscape edging. The landscape edging should be installed so the finished height of the compacted asphalt track is one (1) inch above finished grade of the surrounding soil.
