Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Houston (“City”), Houston Airport System (HAS) are seeking services for a qualified Contractor with highly experienced management teams to submit a proposal for snow and ice removal services from the locations described in the winter weather plan for each airport (IAH and HOU) with the applicable equipment in accordance with FAA AC 150/5220-20A (Airport Snow and Ice Control Equipment). The on-call services shall require the Contractor to have a team ready to respond, when need, twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days week for every snow and deicing event. HAS Operations shall inform the Contractor with an initial notice of a possible snow event approximately two (2) days of the event occurring.
