1.1 Approximately 2,400 dry tons of Aluminum Sulfate in an approximate 48.5% solution by weight. 1.2 Material shall contain not less than 7.5% water soluble alumina and not more than 0.4% iron. 1.3 Material shall contain less than 30mg/L total organic carbon (TOC). 1.4 Aluminum Sulfate supplied shall conform to AWWA Standard B403-98, or the latest revision. Manufacturer or Vendor shall provide affidavit, signed by an officer of the company, acknowledging that the Aluminum Sulfate furnished complies with all applicable requirements of AWWA Standard B403-98 or latest revision. 1.5 Water Plant storage connection consists of 2" PVC fill lines with 2" male quick disconnect. Static lift required is 16 feet. 1.6 Certificate of Analysis must accompany each shipment. 1.7 Billing will be based upon dry weight, using the following calculation Dry Alum Weight = (Al2O3% {from analysis}) x Total Shipment Weight
