The CITY is seeking a thirty-six (36) month contract with three (3) one-year renewal options with a Workers’ Compensation Third Party Administrator (TPA) for its self-insured workers’ compensation claims administration and related cost containment services. The scope of the work will encompass all aspects of CITY operations and requires extensive experience in worker’s compensation, medical cost containment and knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation Healthcare Network. The information provided in the Request for Competitive Sealed Proposal (hereinafter referred to as “RFCSP”) is only to be used for the purpose of preparing a response in the areas of claims administration and/or risk management services. Proposer may propose to perform all related services or make arrangements for subcontracting to provide the necessary related services to include, but not limited to: 1. Compliance with all Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) claims handling requirements 2. Case Management Services 3. Medical Cost Containment Services 4. Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) 5. Private Investigation Services 6. Legal Services for TDI hearings
