Specifications include, but are not limited to:1 It is the intent of the District to contract with a responsible vendor(s) 1) to provide 24 hour/7 day on-call repair, maintenance (including preventive) and support for cameras, switches, servers, access control equipment, door hardware, software, and fiber network equipment associated with all installed (including future additions and modifications) S2TM access control and EXACQTM video systems; 2)to provide and install match existing equipment and integration for future additions and modifications to current system(s). 1.2 The District reserves the right to award on a “line item” basis or “all or none” basis, whichever is most advantageous to the District. The District also reserves the right to award contracts or portions thereof exclusively or to multiple vendors to achieve the best value. 1.3 The successful vendor will enter into a one (1) year contract with the District for Security System Maintenance and Service, with the District’s option to renew for two (2) additional one-year terms. The initial contract period will begin July 1, 2016 and end June 30, 2017. The District reserves the right to re-negotiate this contract prior to any contract term renewals. 1.4 This solicitation is identified as a fixed-price with a price adjustment (increase or decrease) allowance. Submitted prices must remain firm for the entire first year term. If both parties mutually agree, prices may be adjusted based on escalation provisions only as identified in submittal for renewal years. The District reserves the right to evaluate the applicability of any price adjustment and to accept or reject any price adjustment proposal. Price decreases will be accepted at any time during the contract period.
