Specifications include, but are not limited to: Qualified Firms to provide security services. The general scope of service includes the protection of customers, employees, company properties, to deter and detect loitering, trespassing, panhandling, parking violation enforcement, personal automobiles from theft, vandalism, unlawful entry, assault and harassment, as well as enforcement of company policies/procedures, including Trinity Metro’s drug-free workplace policy. With this objective, the proposer shall carry out the scope of work through required physical and vehicle patrols, monitoring of Closed-Circuit TV (CCTV) equipment, responding to emergency call box assistance and other customer needs, and communicating with Trinity Metro Radio Control Center as well as the Rail Dispatch Center. Security personnel shall maintain a professional uniform appearance, be courteous, exhibit good customer service skills, and the ability to clearly communicate with customers, law enforcement, transit police, and employees. It is required that security officers are knowledgeable in CCTV video management system operations, and possess computer skills in Microsoft Office, with a working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word, for daily activity and incident report writing. It is also preferred that security officers be trained in First Aid/CPR. Additional training may be required, as deemed necessary by Trinity Metro and provided by Trinity Metro such as customer service, workplace violence, safety, or other training Trinity Metro provides its employees.
