The Council on Law Enforcement Education and training , hereinafter referred toas CLEET, is the state law enforcement training agency for peace officercertification and the licensing entity for private security. CLEET provides training for approximately 420 students per year. Academy students are full-time peaceofficers employed by city, county, or entities of government. CLEET alsoconducts continuing and advanced training for peace officers and sponsors eventsfor non-law enforcement personnel.Approximately 92% of basic academy students will reside in the dormitorybuilding during an academy. CLEET's campus is a semi-closed campus.Students may come and go as they please, however the front gate is locked atmidnight
