Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Arts Center requires one contract officer to be onsite at any given time. Vendor shall provide hourly rates for armed and unarmed options for to cover the exhibit dates. Armed security personnel must receive required firearms training and be certified by the State of Texas to carry firearms in the performance of their security duties at the Irving Arts Center. Proof of certification shall be required before officers commence work at the facility. Duties: 1. Patrol the special exhibit space, monitor CCTV video systems, and monitor facility burglary/fire alarm systems. 2. Provide an armed response, as appropriate, if armed option selected. 3. Assist Irving Arts Center Security, as instructed, and as appropriate. 4. Coordinate closely with Irving Arts Center Security personnel, other Arts Center employees, and volunteers of the Irving Arts Center. 5. Obtain a general knowledge of the Arts Center facility and operations, as well as related security systems.
