Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Provide staffing of unarmed security officers and related services in order to man four security stations on the University campus (University of Houston Parking Lots 12A, 4A, 16B, and 9C) on a 24 hour, 7 days a week basis including holidays. • The security stations shall be manned by Contractor's security officers regardless of Contractor's employees calling in sick or facing other issues that would not allow them to work their shift. • Upon arriving at property, Contractor's security officers shall pick up a radio from the UHPD Virtual Patrol Room. • Contractor's security officers will sign on at the beginning of shift via radio and sign off at the end of shift via radio. • Contractor's security officers shall monitor all activity in the parking lots and remain visible in the security stations. • Contractor's security officers shall make hourly patrols of the parking lot in which they are stationed in an All‐Terrain Vehicle (ATV) provided by the UHPD. • Training for ATV use will be provided by the UHPD and only authorized users will be permitted to operate ATVs. • Contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment necessary for their security officers to ride the ATVs. • Contractor's security officers shall observe and report any criminal or suspicious activity in the parking lots and surrounding areas to the UHPD dispatch center. • Contractor's security officers will adhere to all post orders as prepared by the UHPD. • Contractor's security officers will receive all post orders prior to the commencement of their shift. • Contractor's security officers will be identified as Campus Security Authorities (CSAs). CSAs will be trained by UHPD.
