Specifications include, but are not limited to: I. General requirements that apply to all categories of items stored. 1. Location of storage facility must be at one location and within Bexar COUNTY, Texas. 2. Successful respondent is responsible for moving the current inventory of seized and stored COUNTY property that is under the scope of this RFP to the successful respondent’s property within 15 days of contract at no cost to the COUNTY. 3. Proposal should include a description for the storage areas, type of surface in the storage area (Require: base, asphalt, concrete, or equivalent), etc. Vendor shall explain all security measures and devices used at storage site. This will include type of video monitoring system, type of security (fence), lighting, traffic control gates, number and type of personnel on premises during business and non-business hours. The COUNTY or Sheriff’s Office may conduct an onsite inspection of the respondent’s facility. 4. Respondent must demonstrate an inventory and access control system that must be able to do the following: a) Inventory of devices at time of arrival b) Recording keeping of losses by theft or casualty c) Documentation of Releases of property to defendants that have been ordered by court d) Live real-time access to inventory information e) Document access of secured area, (who, why, and when)
