Items: Various types of waste or surplus medical supplies, equipment, and PPE including, but not limited to, patient gowns, vials, swabs, gauze, kits of supplies, small equipment. Exact types of items, quantities, and expiration dates unable to be determined. Expiration dates vary widely and may be expired. Brands vary widely. Items are mixed and not sorted. Most items are palletized or in gaylord boxes. Approximately 20-30 pallets. Task: Reuse or donate materials for equipping and refurbishing underserved medical facilities in developing communities. Items must only be used for this charitable purpose and not sold for profit. Bidder is expected to accept the majority of the 20-30 pallets as presented for this purpose. Any limitations on acceptable items by bidder are to be communicated to Parkland before execution of contract and may be grounds for cancellation. Items must be collected from Parkland’s facility at bidder’s expense at a mutually agreeable date and time, with no cost to Parkland. Bidder must be able to provide receipt documentation after collection which includes approximate weight of all items collected.
