Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall supply and install all necessary equipment and cabling to the buildings and existing gates to complete a turnkey fully functioning system as described in this statement of work. All equipment shall be new with a manufactures warranty. B. Contractor shall utilize the districts existing available fiber optic cable for inter-connections between buildings. C. Contractor shall provide, install and certify the appropriate underground new fiber optic cable to each existing gate locations utilizing existing conduit paths. New fiber optic cable will terminate into fiber optic termination box to protect from damage. Fiber optic cable shall be sized to accommodate all existing and new communications from devices to head end with 4 additional strands for future growth. D. Contractor shall install all new fiber optic transmitting equipment on the secure side of each gate adjacent to the gate operator location in a separate weather tight enclosure. E. Contractor shall connect new card readers to the existing Software House access control iStar panels located in each corresponding building that are connected to the TXDOT C-CURE server located at TXDOT’s building #6 in Austin Texas.
