Specifications include, but are not limited to: SCOPE OF SECURITY GUARDS:1. Provide KIPP Houston with uniformed, unarmed and/or armed security guard personnel that havecompleted a security guard training2. Supervision provided by company for each security guard3. Provide KIPP Houston with highly visible, marked patrol cars4. Security personnel shall have access to communication while working within KIPP, provided by theemployee and/or Security Firm5. Security services shall be needed in each campus to ensure the safety of students and facilities duringthe hours specified in Attachment A. Additional hours may be requested based on campus need.6. Additional security guards may be requested for special events.7. Services shall include monitoring of school entry/exit points, on-site foot patrols of schools to protectstudent participants, program staff, buildings, and materials, and assist during arrival/dismissal.8. Where necessary, the security guard shall coordinate with the designated campus representative forspecial instructions for daily tasks and emergency responses.9. Daily reports shall be prepared that highlight any security issues during the security guard s shiftincluding any contact with other individuals. For standard security guard services, these reports shallbe submitted to the campus representative on a weekly basis until completion of the assignment.10.
