Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Books processed for library management system (Follett Destiny). B. Electronic catalog records for library management system supplied at no extra charge. Electronic catalog records should be MARC21. C. Dewey classifications and descriptive cataloging should be from MARC records. They must follow AACR II, Level II. D. Use Library of Congress and/or Library of Congress Children’s subject heading in the cataloging process. E. Campuses will choose cataloging specifications, at the time each order is placed. F. Supply on request either of the following: Note that Mylar cover will not be needed for pre-bound books. 1. Shelf Ready Processing for al titles including taped Mylar Covers with all dust jackets, spine label. 2. Automation processing for all titles including electronic catalog record, barcode labels with protector, spine label and Mylar choice. G. Do not send barcode labels unless specifically requested. Barcode labels to be inscribed with campus name provided at no additional charge. Campus will specify placement of barcode and beginning number. Label protectors will be provided for books without Mylar Covers.
