The City of Conroe Parks and Recreation Department has a project to provide the materials and labor required to layout, fabricate, deliver, and install playground equipment and surface treatment within the borders of a 3,300sf playground area at Roberson Park, located at 1301 Roberson St., Conroe Texas 77301. This project will be influenced by Conroe’s rich history in oil, timber, and the importance of Conroe as a crossroads of the International & Great Northern (I-GN) Railroad and the Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fe (GC&SF) Railway. All materials and installation shall be performed in accordance with applicable City, State, and National Codes and Requirements applicable to playground facilities and meet or exceed ASTM and CPSC guidelines. Basic Site preparation including removal of existing playscape, border, and safety surfacing by a Contractor. Equipment vendors shall be required to coordinate their activities with the City of Conroe.
