Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Specification is to provide a debris removal system, similar to a snowplow, designed for pushing bulky debris off the roadway. This system will be utilized to clear roadway debris weighing up to 150 pounds at speeds less than 20mph and can be done safely from the cab of the vehicle without exposing an operator to traffic. This system must be capable of pushing disabled vehicles out of active travel lanes. 5.1 General Specifications. The equipment must: 5.1.1. Be manufactured with heavy-duty steel. 5.1.2. Be finished with a corrosion-resistant powder coat. 5.1.3. Have a debris blade with a minimum of ¾” rubber contact face. 5.1.4. Have replaceable wearing edges on the debris blade. 5.1.5. Be compatible and mountable on 2019 Ford and 2019 Chevrolet trucks with a minimum GVWR of 8,500lb. 5.1.6. Must meet or exceed all federal and state of Texas safety, health, lighting and noise regulations and standards in effect and applicable to equipment furnished at the time of manufacture. 5.2. Moldboard Must: 5.2.1. Have a minimum 105” to a maximum 108” width moldboard with wings at full extension. 5.2.2. Have a minimum 101” to a maximum 105” width with wings at half extension. 5.2.3. Have a minimum 98” to a maximum 105” with wings stowed away. 5.2.4. Be mounted by bolting on to the underside of the vehicle frame and provide the primary connecting point between the blade and vehicle. 5.2.5. Be at minimum, 41” from the bottom of the blade to the top of the grill protector. 5.2.6. Be at minimum, 45” from the bottom of the blade to the top of the cowling. 5.2.7. Not weigh more than 650lbs.
