1. Act as Broker of Record for the City’s windstorm, hail, storm surge, and possibly flood insurance program. 2. Evaluate the City’s current insurance coverage and provide recommendations to optimize terms, conditions, and limits. 3. Present coverage options and renewal strategies for City Council approval, following internal review by the Human Resources Department and Senior Risk Analyst. 4. Provide ongoing risk management consultation, including but not limited to: o Exposure analysis and policy gap identification. o Benchmarking against peer municipalities. o Market intelligence on insurance trends and emerging risks. o Advice on FEMA, NFIP, and TWIA-related issues. 5. Assist in claims management and advocate for the City’s interests in resolving coverage disputes or claims processes. 6. Deliver an annual risk assessment report summarizing coverage status, market outlook, and risk mitigation recommendations. 7. Support the Senior Risk Analyst in reviewing and updating the City’s overall risk management strategy. 8. Provide professional presentations or briefings to HR staff, and as requested, to City Council or the City Manager. 9. Maintain all communications and coordination through the Senior Risk Analyst and Human Resources Department.
