The project entails the demolition of ≈2,560 square yards of existing asphalt pavement along Riggins Street and Edwards Street and ≈620 square yards of gravel from Unnamed Drive. The existing asphalt and flexbase materials will be pulverized and mixed with cement; the mix will be used for the proposed asphalt paving base material. Riggins Street, Edwards Street, and Unnamed Drive will receive a new 2” asphalt pavement surface. The driveways adjacent to the roadway improvements will also be repaved to match the proposed roadway elevation and slope back to existing driveways at 10% maximum grade; the driveway improvements will match the existing driveway pavement. This project will also remove and replace an existing 4 feet diameter corrugated metal pipe culvert crossing and existing headwall with two 36-inch reinforced concrete pipes and two concrete headwalls with rock riprap. The headwalls will require the installation of metal beam guard fence adjacent to the roadway. Silt fence and other erosion control measures will be installed and maintained along the project limits to control erosion during construction
