Specifications include, but are not limited to:Scope of Work Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Public Health – Abilene is soliciting proposals from food / drink / bookstore service vendor(s) for the establishment of a retail beverage / light dining / bookstore operation(s) for students, faculty /staff, and visiting parties at the newly constructed School of Public Health, Abilene TX. Facility is expected to open August 2016. Contractor will provide, equip, stock, and be responsible for all costs necessary to operate a retail food service and/or bookstore providing high quality light fare, school supplies, school spirit items and books to students, staff, and faculty at good value. The new 4,000 sq. ft. facility is located at 1650 Pine Street, Abilene Texas. The Contractor will be provided with space for a retail operation. Space is a shell with floor to ceiling glass store front, approximately 947 sq. ft. Water, power, and internet access available. Build-out is the responsibility of the Contractor and must be performed in accordance with institutional construction requirements and approved by TTUHSC Physical Plant Division. The retail operation must provide moderately priced food selections (limited grab and go cold food items), coffee and tea, as well as juices and other cold beverage selections
