The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso is seeking a qualified insurance brokerage agency/firm to act on our behalf in soliciting and negotiating comprehensive full-coverage health insurance coverage for our residents and their families that most closely meet the following mandatory requirements: 5.4.1 Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the current health insurance program. 5.4.2 Determine the effectiveness of the current aggregate versus traditional self-funded versus fully insured. 5.4.3 Plan Design Review. 5.4.4 Seek competitive bids for aggregate, traditional self-funded and fully insured. 5.4.5 Analyze quotes received and prepare side by side spreadsheet analysis to existing plan and costs. 5.4.6 Review summary plan document. 5.4.7 Recommend carriers and assist in selection. 5.4.8 Complete final negotiations with selected carrier. 5.4.9 Assist in the overall administration of the insurance program, including but not limited to benefit questions, claims questions, network questions, billing questions, COBRA/HIPPA questions. 5.4.10 Provide local or 1-800 service for overall contract. 5.4.11 Review reports. Make recommendations based upon report outcomes.
