TxDOT’s Environmental Affairs Division is soliciting proposals for five indefinite deliverable contracts for the statewide archeological general services. Services include archeological related services to fulfill TxDOT’s requirements for transportation activities under federal and state statutes as set forth in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Texas Historical Commission (THC) and TxDOT, and a Programmatic Agreement among the Federal Highway Administration, the Texas Department of Transportation, the Texas State Historic Preservation Officer and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Regarding the Implementation of Transportation Undertakings. Services may include: Antiquities Permit Procurements, Test Excavation Fieldwork, Data Recovery Fieldwork, Cemetery Investigation, Burial Exhumation, Analytical Unit Definition, Research Design, Digital Records Preparation, Curation Preparation, all required reporting and other archeological services.
