Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of the Program is to develop a framework for collaborative discussions between the PUCT; Texas Utilities - Texas Electric Utilities (as defined in PURA § 31.002(6)); Texas Municipally Owned Utilities (as defined in PURA § 11.003(11), and Texas Electric Cooperatives (as defined in PURA § 11.003(9); the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT); and the Texas Reliability Entity (TRE) regarding efforts being undertaken to secure critical electric infrastructure from cyber and physical vulnerabilities. The Program is not intended to be a traditional regulatory compliance review program but rather outreach to Texas utilities to evaluate holistic corporate culture and programs for infrastructure protection and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
