1. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of this Contract, including the goods and/or services needed by the City, the statement of the goods and/or services offered by the Contractor, and the City’s acceptance of the Contractor’s statement, are set forth below. 1.1. Purpose The City of Austin ("City") seeks Contractors qualified to provide replacement brooms and accessories for the City's street sweepers ("Sweepers") on an as-needed basis. The purpose of this Scope of Work ("SOW") is to establish a contract for the provision of sweeper brooms and to ensure that all brooms meet the specific requirements and performance standards necessary for efficient operation, thereby supporting the maintenance and effectiveness of ARR fleet. This scope of work (“SOW”) establishes the minimum requirements for these services. The City reserves the right to select more than one Contractor. The contract will be utilized by the City’s Austin Resource Recovery Department (“ARR”). The City reserves the right to allow other City Departments. It is the intent of this solicitation to acquire the services described herein. All items and/or services omitted from this document that are necessary to meet the objectives of the services described shall be considered requirements, although not directly specified or called for herein.
