Background:
Building 6418 at Moore Air Base is a Mexican Fruit Fly Rearing Facility. The Mexican Fruit Fly Program is charged with the eradication of Mexican Fruit Flies from the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas and the northern municipalities of Tamaulipas, Mexico.
This project is set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business firms only. The NAICS code is 238170 – Siding Contractors, with a small business size standard of $19 million. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $500,000 and $1 million.
