Removing, and then purchasing or disposing of an estimated amount of 12,000 gallons of diesel fuel, currently located in an underground storage tank. Removal Process: o Use proper equipment for the safe extraction of diesel fuel from the UST. o Implement spill prevention strategies to ensure that no fuel contaminates the surrounding environment. o Utilize pump trucks and other relevant tools for removing all but two-hundred (200), or four (4) inches, of diesel fuel from the tank. Disposal and Reselling: o If quality of diesel fuel after inspection is suitable, provide pricing to purchase suitable diesel fuel. ▪ Note: Interested bidders are not required by the County to conduct an inspection on a sample of the fuel, but do so at their own risk if offering to purchase. o All removed fuel must be transported to a licensed waste management facility for proper disposal or recycling, if not suitable for reselling.
