Specifications include, but are not limited to: Upon notification of the DSHS Laboratory, the Vendor should provide the following: 1. Reagent Kit: a) Reagents for an FDA-approved assay that provides rapid detection and differentiation of HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies. b) Controls, consumables, and other supplies necessary to perform the assay. c) Reagents must have latest expiration possible upon receipt or at minimum 12 months expiration upon receipt. d) The test method must utilize serum as a specimen type. 2. Instrument/Equipment a) Equipment and software necessary to read and interpret results. i. All equipment supporting testing must be new, not refurbished. ii. Vendor agrees to provide shipping and cover costs associated with installation, validation, repairs, routine service, and upgrades. b) Associated computer, monitor, printer, barcode reader and other peripherals needed to operate the equipment. i. The computer, monitor, printer, peripherals, and Vendor software must remain under maintenance by Vendor and necessary upgrades, repairs, and/or replacements shall be provided at no extra charge during the contract period. c) Vendor shall provide shipping and cover costs associated with installation, validation, repairs, routine service, and upgrades. d) Vendor shall provide necessary supplies for all instrumentation. e) Vendor shall deliver equipment within 30 days of the approved purchase order and as early as possible prior to September 1, 2024. f) Vendor shall provide a technical representative for installation of equipment and training, including training manual if available, of DSHS personnel at DSHS Laboratory completed by September 1, 2024, at no additional cost. g) Vendor will provide one-time training, at no additional charge, at the customer’s site...
