The required services to be provided are as-needed upholstery maintenance and repair services for all vehicles used by San Antonio State Hospital (SASH) and San Antonio State Supported Living Center (SASSLC). The upholstery materials expected to be repaired include but are not limited to: 1. Vinyl, cotton, polyester, leather, faux leather, olefin, polypropylene, and linen. The list of vehicles to be serviced can be found in Exhibit G – Vehicle List. HHS reserves the right to add or remove vehicles during the contract term and at its sole discretion. The Contractor shall provide a single point of contact responsible for receiving vehicles that are dropped off by a SASH or SASSLC representative. A SASH or SASSLC representative will contact the Contractor by written communication to notify the Contractor whether maintenance or repair services are needed. The written request will include the vehicle description, upholstery fabric type, and a timeframe of when maintenance or repair services shall be complete. The Contractor must be located within fifty (50) miles of the service location (Section 7.1.1). The Contractor shall perform all repair services on the Contractor’s premises. The Contractor shall store the vehicles in a storage area that is secure from vandalism or theft. After requested services are completed, the Contractor shall notify SASH or SASSLC that the vehicle is ready for pick-up. The vehicle shall be clean and free of damages and foreign odors, such as cigarette smoke.
