The Radiology Outpatient Center Replacement project involves the design and construction of a new, multistory facility comprising approximately 93,000 building GSF that is anticipated to be located on a vacant parcel located proximate to the southeast corner of the intersection of Old Spanish Trail (OST) and Staffordshire Street in Houston Texas. MD Anderson anticipates this new facility will house 12 MRI units, 4 CTs, 2 PET/CTs, and 1 Radiographic Fluoroscopy X-ray unit, and will facilitate consolidating and expanding existing services within one facility. The 31,000 GSF third floor is expected to be shell space to be finished out under a future separate project to accommodate evolving imaging technologies and increased future patient volumes. The scope of the project includes site and utility infrastructure development as well as the construction of a new on-site surface parking lot. The decommissioning and demolition of the existing ROC facility will be undertaken as part of a future project.
