Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Region One ESC ORION Consortium is accepting request for proposals (RFP) from qualified Local Internet Access service providers to provide Internet Access Services. The purpose of this competitive procurement solicitation is to provide a standard from which to evaluate your company’s Internet Access Services as they compare to other providers and as they pertain to the needs of the Region One ESC ORION E-Rate Consortium as defined in this procurement solicitation. Due to the increased utilization of the Internet by students, staff, and administration, this RFP is a request for a minimum of 100 Gbps/maximum of 500 Gbps Internet Access port and fiber optic transport from the service providers point of presence to the Region One ORION Consortium Network Operations Center as specified in the BidTable. This RFP does not include any cabling or wiring modifications beyond the service provider's point of demarcation. Region One ORION Consortium reserves the right to add and/or move the service to a different location during the term of this agreement. The district requires this service to be installed and available for service on July 1, 2024.
