Specifications include, but are not limited to: Currently, Integral Care provides prescription support services to its clients through its participation in the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), and by providing support for clients with respect to local retail pharmacies (including, as determined by Integral Care, payment for certain client prescriptions at local pharmacies). Integral Care provides services to clients on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. Integral Care operates a closed-door retail pharmacy at 5015 South IH-35, Suite 200 Austin, Texas 78744 (the “Pharmacy”) and a dispensary at each of 1631 East 2nd St. Austin, Texas 78702 and 2501 W. William Cannon Bldg. 4, Unit 401 Austin, Texas 78745 (collectively, the “Dispensaries”). Integral Care is seeking proposals (“Proposals”) from qualified proposers to provide pharmacy point-of-sale software (“Services”) for the Pharmacy and the Dispensaries. Services consist more particularly of point-of-sale software that will be installed on one (1) work station at the Pharmacy, one (1) work station at each of the two (2) Dispensaries, and that contains the following required features: ability to scan bar code of drug bottle or packages during payment process; ability to create drug utilization reports and sort by: - client name; - drug name; - prescriber; and - payor source. ability to seamlessly interface with AmeriSourceBergen; ability to seamlessly interface with McKesson’s Enterprise Pharmacy System; automatic electronic updates for average wholesale price of drugs, acquisition cost of drugs and retail charges; on-line adjudication with all major pharmacy benefit managers; workflow management; product imaging; ability to capture electronic signature to meet Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements; acceptance of cash, credit cards or flexible spending account cards via point-of-sale system; and compatibility with iPads.
