Specifications include, but are not limited to: Network electronics to light dark fiber for the entire district. Vendors will be required to inventory all removed equipment and dispose as directed by HISD. Vendor will provide said services in cooperation with district officials and staff in a manner intended to not adversely impact the educational process any more than absolutely necessary. All activities will be initiated and coordinated by the District’s Network Operations staff. All fire and building codes will be respected, observed, and maintained at all times. The safety of the children, patrons, staff, and facilities of Harlandale is always of utmost importance. The vendor will assure that all workers involved are properly trained, and where appropriate, certified to perform the services assigned. Vendors will be held accountable for the behavior and actions of workers while on Harlandale I.S.D. property including maintaining appearance appropriate to an environment where the workers may come in contact with children. Workers found to be wearing or in possession of materials promoting use of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or firearms will be asked to leave. The proposal will also include documents describing quantity and qualifications of the vendors technical, managerial, and executive personnel involved in order to demonstrate ability to deliver the services required in a prompt and professional manner. The successful bidder must have manufacturer specific certified engineers for these on-site services. Based on the required task, both remote and onsite support shall be provided on a 7X24 basis. Maintenance shall be invoiced as used, not pre-paid. Services proposed must be eligible for E-Rate Category 1 discount. Bids should include the standard manufacturer’s bundled warranty.
