Provide Dental PPO and DHMO insurance for Harris County and the Harris County Flood Control District, for a period of one (1) year beginning January 1, 2025, and ending twelve (12) months thereafter. Harris County is committed to providing a comprehensive health and related benefits plan to its employees, retirees and their eligible dependents while containing cost. These employee benefits plans are designed to attract and retain qualified personnel. Considerations for the provision of these benefits include access and efficient delivery of high-quality care and cost containment. Additional considerations include an emphasis on preventive care, wellness programs and communication. To provide a high-quality group benefits program at a competitive price that satisfies the needs of, and gains acceptance by Harris County plan member participants, the dental plans proposed shall include a comprehensive provider network which can provide appropriate treatment and cost-effective care.
