The work of the project is to furnish, install, and program access control system. This includes card readers, gate releases, control panels, intercoms, access control cabling, surge protection, and CCTV. The system must be compatible and interoperable with TXDOT’s latest version Software House CCURE as a standard. Furnish and provide a utility scan at each site. Refer to the specification requirements. Furnish and install pedestal card readers, pedestal cabling, intercoms, CCTV, gate position sensors and required surge protection as indicated on the drawings and specifications. Contractor is responsible to verify all field conditions and dimensions for bidding and installation. Work of this project also includes demolition of existing chain link fencing and gates as indicated on the drawings. Clear trees, bushes and vines as indicated on the drawings, two feet of each side of fence line where fence line is on TXDOT property. When fence line borders another property, line/fence line clearing to be coordinated with TXDOT project manager. A minimum of 2-foot clearing is required on TXDOT side. Stump grinding of trees, bushes, and vines. Comply with local, state, and federal ordinances and laws. Furnish and install 9 ga, 6ft chain link fence with top rail and 3 strand barb wires and or associated components as indicated on the drawings. Furnish and install ornamental 7ft fencing and associated components. Furnish and install 7ft ornamental V-track gates, troughs, gate operators with safeties, safety loops and associated safety devices to comply with UL 325 standards as indicated on the drawings. Install TXDOT furnished pedestals, pedestal base, base foundation as indicated on the drawings and specifications. Furnish and provide a utility scan at each site. Refer to the specification requirements. Contractor is responsible to verify all field conditions and dimensions for bidding and installation. Work at entrances shall be performed in a manor or time that will not impede vehicle ingress or egress at entrance. Perimeter fence line must be maintained, and property line left secure.
