A. General Requirements The Contractor shall supply a new emergency backup generator and Automatic Transfer Switch that conforms to the City's specifications listed below and is in compliance with City adopted, IBC, UBC, NFPA codes governing Emergency Generators. B. Specifications Requirements 1. 200kW Diesel Generator 2. Manufacture: Non-specific 3. Power Per Genset (ISO 8528): 200 kWel (Max) 4. Generator Voltage: 277/480 V 5. Noise Enclosed: 73 dba @ 23 ft. (Ll) 6. Phase:3 7. Unit Specification: UL2200, CSA 8. Temp Rise: 120 degrees Celsius 9. Exhaust Emissions (EPA): Tier 3 10. ASCO 300 Series (or Equivalent) 600 Amps, Automatic transfer switch 11. Condition - New NOTE: Bid price must include freight FOB Destination: Portland, TX, and any off-loading, permitting, coordination, etc. C. Additional Requirements The Contractor must ensure the new generator system includes the following at minimum: 1. Generator must have the capability within the main panel controller to be scheduled on a weekly basis to exercise the unit. 2. Generator will be required to be atop of diesel fuel tank with the fuel capacity for generator to run 29 hours at 100% load. 3. A remote annunciator that provides the following unit operational information: a. Generator on load b. Low coolant Temp c. Charger failure d. Low fuel e. High coolant Temp f. Low oil pressure g. Over crank h. Overspeed
